What is the e-STT?

The e-STT is a global e-Resources Strategic Think Tank that articulates interdependencies across nations and addresses its acceleration between stakeholders on a worldwide scale.

The members of e-STT are decision-makers from both public and private institutions—leading R&D departments of corporations; publishing industry and business partners; and academic, research, and technology institutions and organisations from around the world.

What we do?

Among peers, we think, debate, argue, and challenge the status quo. We aim for fair and evenly balanced exchanges between stakeholders. We exchange ideas off-the-record and confidentially. We select and prioritize recommendations and transform them into positive actions, bringing long-awaited results.

The e-STT is a place where members do world-class research on challenging policies and problems, coming up with solutions that matter to people working in the fields of content, information, and knowledge management. e-STT Members distinguish themselves by:

The e-Resources Strategic Think Tank members seek to promote and bring to success five key issues every year supporting standards of transparency and exchange of information:

• The task groups, research groups, and debates are organized to address the key areas of focus.
• The forums allow members and the global community to stay informed, to support and monitor industry progress.
• Where appropriate, the research groups and committee chairs work in partnership with other bodies, including government bodies, international organisations, and organisations within its own membership.

International leaders and experts make recommendations on improving education, research, and innovation, and these recommendations are too often left in drawers. We can make a difference.

e-STT activities: the forums, the debates, and the initiatives are dedicated to the transformation of the management of content, information, and knowledge.

The ultimate goal of the e-STT is to ensure international standards of transparency and exchange of information among all stakeholders around the globe.
